Usually there is a half-life overhaul before the vehicle is replaced but 13 years is a long time and millions of miles.

I’m not sure what global warming has to do with this. I don’t have the stats here but hybrid diesels have twice the fuel economy and generate far less particulate emissions than compared to a standard diesel coach.
