District Supervisor Candidates Forum Sept 13
The Rescue Muni Board would like to cordially invite our members to our biannual Candidates’ Forum on Monday, September 13th, 2010 @ 6:30pm in the SF County Fair Building.
Where does your district’s candidate stand on the proposed service restoration, crime, POP, Prop AA, and Prop G? Rescue Muni members are invited to vote for their preferred candidates for endorsement – we have invited the leading candidates from districts 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 to speak and take your questions. If your membership has expired, you can renew at the meeting.

Why no invitation to the only candidate who has been riding buses for 41 years, Jim Meko in District 6? He’s in the TOp 5 of fundraising and the only one hasn’t driven a car in the past year …. hell, make that 41 YEARS!!! Jim Meko knows what’s up … he Chaired the Western SoMa Citizens’ Planning Task Force which, unlike the Eastern Neighborhoods, has already figured out TRANSIT for their COMMUNITY-BASED PLAN … see it at http://www.SFGov.org/westernsoma So, I hope you guys will decide to invite Jim Meko … the rest will be DRIVING as soon as they get elected (‘cept possibly James Keys or Anna Conda… )
I extended an invite to Jim but unfortunately he had a scheduling conflict and won’t be making it.
